Post is coming soon about the visit to Split and the Makarska Riviera on the Croatian coast of the Adriatic Sea in summer of 2022
Visited Northern Sweden in late 2021Visited Northern Sweden in late 2021 to take shots of northern lights, as well as the onset of winter in the arctic.
Visited the Abisko National Park and various settlements and the town of Kiruna. Visiting Netherlands againI had the pleassure of visiting Netherlands and driving around to various brilliant photo sites as the Kinderdijk Molens Windmills, a UNESCO Heritage Site in South Holland.
There is still time see my exhibitions ”Maleriet” & ”Skoven” at the restaurant Grundsmag on Stændertorvet near the historical Roskilde Cathedral, where i since September 2019 have exhibited some of my pictures of Scandinavian landscapes with Nordic wetlands and ancient forests.
In the main room i have selected shots of the wetlands in the nature reserve Kongelunden on the island of Amager in Denmark. The light and the scene added with the blur applied gives an excellent softness to the shots. The ”Skoven” pictures in the "Living Room" are some of my favourite shots from a decade of photographing the old woodlands on the Danish Island of Zealand, and in particular the photos of one of the oldest trees in Europe, "Kongeegen", the Kings Oak means a lots to me. The shots are printed on canvas enhancing the feel of the soft landscape. Maleriet means the "The Painting" in Danish and "Skoven" means "The Forest". Enjoy my exhibition and savour the brilliant quality of the Nordic organic kitchen of Grundsmag I love my morning walks along the boardwalk in the Århusgadekvarteret (the Århusgade Neighbourhood) in Nordhavn (North Harbour), the new urban development in Copenhagen, Denmark. In fact I started taking pictures out there many years ago, and the two smaller pictures above is taken from the same spot in December 2010 (left) and in December 2019 - the decade of development is highly visible and is a huge improvement to the city and will over the years become home to more than 40,000 people when its completed sometime in the 2070s.
I enjoyed a pleasant October day to ride the latest metro line in Copenhagen, the Cityringen or M3 as its also called. The stations are all unique in their designs, colours and material textures. It was a nice to return for me to the Cityringen, having been part of its planning and construction in the early 2010s. It has been claimed that the Cityringen Metro Line is the largest construction project to have taken place in Copenhagen during the last 400 years. The network's total length is 15.5 kilometres and has 17 stations. The line opened on 29th September 2019.
In connection with the opening of the restaurant Grundsmag on Stændertorvet near the historical Roskilde Cathedral, i have been asked the venue owner Marie Vedel, to exhibit some of my pictures of Scandinavian landscapes. I am honoured to present these shots of the Nordic wetlands and ancient forests.

Summer is over and the nights are getting darker and more moist, with fog and haze softening the landscape. These shots are made on the island of Tåsinge in Denmark
