Ugliness in Paradise

Sint Maarten 2007-2008

In late 2007 i moved to the Caribbean Leeward Island of Sint Maarten / St. Martin, and started to record island life with my new Canon DSLR. I was mostly stroked by the stark contrasts of the local natures beauty and the ugliness of mass tourism and its consequences to a small island community. In early i started writing on a small Blog in my mother tongue Danish out the ugliness and adding my shots to it.
