Bharat women in focus

This is my first entry to British Journal of Photography & 1854 Media's "Female in Focus" in May 2019

A day in September, while stretching my legs after driving on the endless dirt roads of rural Rajasthan, I came a cross this group of incredible women - singing and chatting on their way to the temple - with smiles, they happily connected with me and my camera, capturing the moment with young and old dancing and laughing - before wandering off into the dry countryside - a beautiful instant of women in focus

Bharat Trance Female in Focus

This is my second entry to British Journal of Photography & 1854 Media's "Female in Focus" in May 2019

Strolling along the bustling Johari bazaar in the centre of Jaipur, I ran into this noisy and colourful procseeion of worshippers with their banners, cars, loudspeaker, foods, elephants and these female dancers in thier powerful trance-like dance. Thieir movements were as in state of ecstasy and alluring bystanders by the intensity of this display of unrestrained delight.
